While there is not yet a firm date for the opening of the lake, we are shooting for early June. As soon as the exact date is known, it will be announced!
We appreciate everyone's patience during these times. While we know everyone is excited for the lake to open, there are many guidelines and procedures that need to be in place in order to comply with state and county guidelines and ensure the safety of our employees and customers.
The below link will allow you to access our opening plan for the season. If you have any additional questions please feel free to email us at email@example.com.
Due to repairs, the dam will be closed Tuesday, May 26 through Thursday, May 28, 2020.
Hi everyone, hope you are all staying safe during this time.
It isn't much of an update, but we wanted to let you know that we are currently working on a phasing plan for opening to comply with federal, state, and county guidelines. An update should be released next week with a scheduled opening date! Thank you all for your patience, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
Clarification to San Bernardino County Press Release regarding County parks, rivers, lakes and recreation areas, including parking lots reopening on Saturday, April 24, 2020.
In an effort to clarify the County press release we offer the following information. The press release is regarding the opening of areas that are owned and operated by San Bernardino County. This does not apply to privately owned facilities or recreation businesses. Green Valley Lake is a private lake and the recreation facilities are managed and operated by the Green Valley Lake Recreation Company, a private company. The Green Valley Lake Recreation Company must comply with State and County Orders with regard to privately owned companies as to how they operate during the COVID 19 crisis. Therefore, all recreation facilities on the lake property are closed until further notice. We hope this clarifies that the San Bernardino County press release does not apply to Green Valley Lake. The lake surface area and all facilities such as bathrooms, trash cans, picnic tables, playground equipment and sports court will remain closed until further notice.
