PLEASE LEAVE THE LAKE CLEANER THAN YOU FOUND IT, TRASH RECEPTACLES ARE LOCATED AROUND THE LAKE FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!
THIS LAKE IS A PART OF YOUR NATIONAL FOREST,
WE SHOULD ALL HONOR IT.
DOGS
Dogs are absolutely welcomed on GVL from dawn to dusk, however, there are limitations.
Per San Bernardino County code, all dogs must be on a 6 foot or shorter leash and we reserve right to request that a dog be muzzled.
No animals are allowed in the gated beach area.
The exception is for service animals under current ADA regulations. Service animals must be on a 6 foot or shorter leash and are not allowed in the water.
There are poop bags and trash receptacles around the lake for your convenience, please use them.
COURTS
Courts are open from dawn to dusk and are first come first serve. We do not take reservations.
We have courts for volleyball, basketball, and horse shoes. Please visit the Boat House during normal hours for sport equipment.
PLAYGROUND
GVL RECREATION, INC. has two playgrounds:
one inside the gated beach area and another outside of the gated beach area.
If you want to use the playground inside the gated beach area, you will be subject to the beach fee.
Lakeside Park is open to all persons for free and is maintained by Rim of the World.
TABLES
Picnic tables are first come first serve,
we do not take reservations.
Like the playgrounds,
GVL RECREATION, INC. has picnic tables in the gated beach area. If you want to use the picnic tables inside the gated beach area, you will be subject to the beach fee.
Please utilize the trash receptacles around the lake!
RESTROOMS
Restrooms are available from 5:30 AM to 8:00 PM during our months of operation. The restroom is not functional during winter months.
If you visit GVL during winter, please plan accordingly.
PARKING
Parking is readily available around the lake at no charge;
however, if you visit during winter months, parking is scarce due to snow load.
If you visit GVL during winter, please plan accordingly.
WINTER MONTHS
GVL RECREATION, INC. is closed from November to April. You may fish from shore during non-op months until ice starts forming around the Lake. Then all persons must stay off the Lake ice. Violators are subject to a hefty fine.
